Management Committee Meeting Summary12 February 2025

• Andy Simpson was confirmed as Chairman, with formal ratification set for the Special General Meeting (SGM) on 3rd March 2025.

• A governance resolution was discussed to ensure director accountability while safeguarding the Chairman’s role.

• Lease renewal for Hoon Hay was secured for five years at £6,000 per year, inclusive of VAT.

• The Oxton lease process is ongoing, and follow-ups are in place.

• Hogweed management will be addressed in April/May.

• The Health & Safety Lead role is now filled by Ed Newman, with supporting members.

• A new bank mandate is being arranged for secure financial administration.

• Recruitment for a Treasurer Shadow Elect will commence after the SGM.

• Members will soon receive formal SGM notices and proxy voting options.
